Rodgers is some Bhoy

BRENDAN Rodgers was the toast of Celtic supporters yesterday when his team beat their greatest traditional rivals 5-0 yesterday to clinch the Ladbrokes Premier League title.

The defeat of Rangers at Celtic Park sealed the seventh successive league title for the green half of Glasgow and the club will be now aiming to make history with a win over Motherwell in the Scottish Cup final at Hampden Park in May.

While the Carnlough man has only been at the club for two seasons a victory in the final would mean he has won the three major titles in both seasons, a historic achievement by any standards.

Celtic fans will be hoping that the club can keep Rodgers at the helm for the foreseeable future as they chase not just domestic glory but look to continue to improve results when they compete in Europe.
