Prayers for family after lightening strike

There will be enormous concern for the father and two children who were hit by a freak lightening strike outside Killowen primary school in Lisburn.

George Allen (37) and his five-year-old son Geordie remained critically ill in hospital last night while his daughter Georgha was in a stable condition after they were injured just outside the school's main gates on Tuesday.

A teacher showed enormous presence of mind by resuscitating Mr Allen with a defibrillator immediately after the traumatic episode which followed the school's sports day.

The entire community will be praying that all three members of the Allen family make a full and early recovery after their terrifying ordeal.
