Courageous message from murder victim's family

The family of Conor McKee suffered greatly through his heroin addiction and then had to face an even more appalling ordeal when he was callously murdered in north Belfast last week.

His brother, Tommy McKee, displayed huge courage when he said he was praying that the tragic case would act as a deterrent to keep other young people away from drugs.

Mr McKee said poignantly; `I want to make it very clear, my brother was a victim of drugs, and all that brings with it, this is the end result.'

His message deserves to be widely heard and it will also be strongly hoped that the individuals who carried out the brutal shooting are swiftly brought to justice.
