Tragic case of Jim and Marie Quigley

While the full details behind the deaths of Jim and Marie Quigley have yet to be established, Garda sources strongly indicated yesterday that murder/suicide is the main line of inquiry.

Mr Quigley (69) is believed to have been driving in the wrong direction along the north-bound carriageway of the Republic's M1 when he collided with a truck and a car, before the body of his 70-year-old wife was discovered at their home in Hackballscross in Co Louth on Monday afternoon.
