WHEN you’re elected to become the next leader of the free world, of course you’d want a bust-shaped cake in an exact likeness of yourself – right? That might not be your first thought, but it is what was gifted to Trump on the eve of his win.
The cake was made by 24-year-old Melissa Alt from New Jersey and was delivered to his election night event at the Hilton Midtown hotel in Manhattan, where Trump supporters had gathered to await the result.

Alt said she spent a whopping 50 hours making the chocolate cake and it was valued at around $7,000.
She said: “I made a Hillary cake for a client so I decided to make a Donald Trump cake. The hair was actually the easiest part.”
It’s a weirdly detailed and somewhat freaky cake.
The irony is that this cake has as much qualification to be president as Trump. pic.twitter.com/vsjOvNXuWS
