WHEN receiving an award for your work in human rights the last emotion you expect to feel is embarrassed – but that’s exactly how one activist must have felt as he stood next to the Croatian president for a photo opportunity.
Ivan Zvonimir Cicak is head of the Croatian Helsinki Committee for Human Rights and met Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic ahead of International Human Rights Day on December 10.
It didn’t go exactly as planned.
