A one time leading loyalist has admitted exposing himself in public before launching into a homophobic tirade in Ayrshire, Scotland.

The court heard Sam McCrory (53), pictured, acted in an aggressive manner, shouting, swearing and making rude remarks, during the incident in January.

A close friend of exiled loyalist leader, Johnny ‘Mad Dog’ Adair, McCrory appeared before Ayr Sheriff Court in relation to the incident.

According to The Daily Record, Sheriff Desmond Leslie said: “This is pretty disgusting behaviour for a man of your age.

“Should this happen again you will almost certainly be facing custody.”

McCrory was not placed on the sex offenders’ register on the basis that Sheriff Leslie viewed the incident as public indecency as opposed to being sexually motivated.
