Quiz: How much do you really know about the gender pay gap?

SADLY in 2016, the gender pay gap is still a thing.

The gap for full time UK workers is currently 9.4 per cent – but the size can vary considerably depending on the type of job people do.

So the Office for National Statistics has put together this snazzy interactive quiz to test your knowledge on how depressingly wide that gap can be.

To give you a bit of an idea about how it can vary from job to job, a female legal secretary earns around 23 per cent more than her male counterpart, while a man working as an assembler (so with vehicles and metal goods) earns 33.6 per cent more than a woman.

Good luck and get ready to feel quite sad.
