A 25-year-old man appeared before a court in Co Louth today charged with the murder of Keane Mulready-Woods.

Paul Crosby of Rathmullen Park in Drogheda is accused of killing the teenager in the town last year.

He was charged with the murder of the 17-year-old boy at 31 Rathmullen Park, Drogheda, on 12-13 January 2020.

Detective Sergeant Peter Cooney told Dundalk District Court that he arrested and charged Mr Crosby with murder.

He told the court the accused made no reply.

Judge Eirinn McKiernan remanded Mr Crosby in custody and he is due to appear before Drogheda District next week.
