HOLLYWOOD couple Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick have arrived in Ireland to spend their second Christmas in a row at their south Donegal holiday home.

In what appears to be becoming a family Christmas tradition, the couple, their son James and twin daughters Marion and Tabitha arrived in Kilcar at the weekend.

Ms Parker, star of Sex in the City, has fallen in love with Co Donegal since first visiting the house her husband’s family bought 40 years ago.

The family are regular summer visitors to Kilcar where they enjoy the relaxed pace of life and the fact that local people respect their privacy.

However, it was a surprise when the actress turned up in a local store for last minute provisions last Christmas Eve.

The family arrived in Ireland on Saturday and stopped for breakfast at Hotel Kilmore in Cavan town.

Ms Parker told staff and guests she was looking forward to her winter holiday in Co Donegal which she said was a “beautiful place to spend Christmas”.

Last year Ms Parker and her family remained in Donegal throughout the festive season, celebrating New Year in Kilcar.

The star took to Instagram to praise the county, posting: “Happy new year from a remote but beautiful land far away where wifi often eludes us but 2019 will not.”
