Irish teenager dies after Lanzarote fall

A 15-year-old boy believed to be from Navan in Co Meath has died after a fall from a wall in Lanzarote

An Irish teenager has died after a fall on the holiday island of Lanzarote.

The 15-year-old boy, who is believed to be from Navan in Co Meath, suffered serious head injuries after falling from a wall in the resort of Puerto del Carmen.

It is believed the boy, who was on holiday with his parents, fell from a height of around 15 feet.

It is understood the teenager went into cardiac arrest and was revived at the scene by police and paramedics before being taken to a local hospital.
