The sentencing of two teenage boys convicted of murdering school girl Anastasia Kriegel has been adjourned to allow the preparation of psychiatric reports.

Boy A and Boy B, both aged 14, were convicted of the murder in June.

The 14-year-old victim's naked body was found in an abandoned farmhouse in Lucan, Co Dublin, in May 2018.

Boy A was also found guilty of aggravated sexual assault.

The two boys are the youngest convicted killers in the history of the Irish state, and have been granted lifelong anonymity due to their age.

The sentencing hearing at the Central Criminal Court in Dublin has been adjourned to October 29.

Both boys were present in court on Monday for the brief hearing, as well as members of the Kriegel family.
