A 49-YEAR-OLD Romanian man found with serious injuries in a Dublin park was murdered, gardaí have said.

A murder probe has been launched into the death of builder Ioan Artene Bob following his death last week.

He was found in Sean Walsh Park in Tallaght just before 8am on Friday.

Mr Bob had suffered injuries to chest and body. He was taken to Tallaght Hospital where he later died.

He was last seen on Moore Street in Dublin city centre at around 8.30pm on Thursday.

Gardaí said the builder was father to a young child who is living in Romania.

Officers have appealed to anyone with information to contact them.
