A WOMAN in her early 60s has died following a two-vehicle crash in Co Monaghan.
The crash happened at Feragh on the Monaghan to Ballybay Road at around 4.45pm on Saturday.
The woman was a passenger in a car, the driver of which was seriously injured and taken to Monaghan Hospital.
A man in his mid-40s who was driving the second car was also taken to Cavan Hospital with minor injuries.
The road was closed for several hours as Garda forensic collision investigators examined the scene.
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses.
