TWO gardaí were assaulted in north Dublin on Monday.
A sergeant sustained facial injuries and a colleague had her wrist broken in a confrontation after they approached a group of men on Aylward Green in Finglas at about 1.50am.
Two men were arrested at the scene.
The injured officers were treated at Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown.
