A four-year-old boy from Ireland has died in a drowning incident in Puerto Rico, the Department of Foreign Affairs has confirmed.
Finn McCarthy from Blackrock, Co Dublin, died after getting into difficulty at a pool in the Palm Real estate at Guaynabo, Puerto Rico last Saturday.
It is understood the boy's father called emergency services but
Dublin's Department of Foreign Affairs says it is providing consular assistance to the boy’s parents, who recently moved to the Caribbean island.
