ARMED police officers surrounded an aeroplane at Dublin Airport this morning in what the airport says was not a security-related incident.
Dublin Airport initially tweeted that a “localised Garda-related incident” was underway but that flight operations were continuing as normal, adding later that the situation had ended and had not been “security-related”.
However, some passengers have complained that their flights were delayed during the operation.
Have just watched police surround a plane I'm supposed to be getting on at Dublin Airport T2. Can't tell what it's about. Quickly left again
