A man has died after an industrial accident on a farm in Co Monaghan.
The incident happened in Castleross, near Carrickmacross at around nine o'clock this morning.
The man was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes hospital in Drogheda, where he later died form his injuries.
Gardaí are investigating the incident.
The accident is the latest in a number of agricultural fatalities in Ireland this year.
Last month, a four-year-old boy died in an incident involving a tractor at a farm near Belmullet, Co Mayo.
