POLICE have renewed their appeal following the death of a man in a Co Fermanagh road crash.

John Woods was fatally injured after being struck by a lorry on Water Street, Lisnaskea on the evening of March 4.

Police last night said they were "reissuing their appeal for witnesses" and said they wanted to speak to the driver of a dark coloured saloon car with a tow bar that drove down Water Street/ Castle Lane before the crash and the driver of a dark coloured car with silver roof rails that stopped on Main Street just opposite the junction around the time of the collision.

The investigation unit has also appealed to anyone with dash-cam footage to contact them.

It was the second tragedy to hit the family after Mr Woods' son Ciaran, a GAA player, was stabbed to death at a house in Tempo, near Lisnaskea in 2010.
