VICKY McClure’s Line of Duty scenes are often set in a dimly-lit entry or a graffitied underpass but the actress has revealed her more salubrious real-life Belfast haunts.
Speaking on The Graham Norton Show on Friday, the star said she makes the city a home from home while filming the hit police drama.
"I adore it there,” the Nottingham native said.
“I am not very good at being away from home so I have kind of made Belfast my second home. St George's Market, Belfast Bap, The Spaniard – these are all my spots that I have adopted."
Cathedral Quarter bar The Spaniard responded on Instagram on Saturday: “Awwwww, thanks so much for the shout out on last night’s Graham Norton show @vicky.mcclure, we love having you as part of our adopted family."
McClure was appearing on the BBC1 chat show to promote her new ITV series Trigger Point.
