MORE than 50 firefighters were tackling a blaze at a glass and PVC window manufacturer in Co Fermanagh last night.

The fire at the Timoney Windows and Toughened Glass factory on Tattygare Road in Tempo is thought to have broken out in an electrical generator just before 2pm yesterday.

It later spread to two large buildings where toughened glass and PVC windows are made.

Black smoke from the fire could be seen for miles around last night.
