LIAM Neeson is to star in a new thriller which will be filmed in Ireland.
The Land Of Saints And Sinners will also star Belfast actor Ciaran Hinds, who is known for roles in movies including Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy.
The movie, which will be set in a remote Irish village, will see Neeson play a newly retired assassin who is drawn into a lethal game of cat and mouse with a trio of vengeful terrorists.
The film will see Neeson reunite with Robert Lorenz, director of The Marksman, which topped the US box office.
Principal photography has reportedly been lined up for March 2022 in Ireland for the movie, which was written by Mark Michael McNally and Terry Loane.
Neeson fans can expect to see plenty of the popular action star in the coming months as currently, he is in post-production on a number of movies, including Blacklight, Memory and Retribution.
