Loyalist blogger Jamie Bryson has said he is "in the process" of lodging a complaint with police in relation to the conduct of some supporters of the Noah Donohoe campaign outside court.

Mr Bryson was speaking after he called members of 'Noah's Army' - who had gathered outside Belfast's Laganside Court on Wednesday to support Fiona Donohoe - an "emotionally charged sectarian lynchmob".

Ms Donohoe - Noah's mother - and her sister were at the court on Wednesday for a pre-inquest hearing in relation to her son's case.

The teenager, a pupil at St Malachy’s College, disappeared after leaving his home in the Ormeau Road area in the south of the city on June 21 last year.

On June 27, his body was found in a storm drain in the north of the city.

On the same day, Mr Bryson was at Belfast High Court to hear Justice Colton's ruling concerning a judicial review of the controversial Northern Ireland Protocol.

Following the hearing, the applicants held a brief press conference outside the courts.

Mr Bryson accused Noah's Army of "hijacking" the press conference, describing their behaviour as "appalling".

The loyalist activist said yesterday that he is "in the process of lodging a police complaint" in relation to the incident.

Mr Bryson claimed abuse was shouted at those taking part in the press conference including TUV assembly member Jim Allister, Ben Habib and Kate Hoey, including "away back to England".

He said the family of Noah "is entitled to campaign for answers in relation to his death" however "I do stand over my assessment in relation to the group of supporters that broke away from the main Noah protest and hijacked an entirely unrelated press conference".

"I hope Noah’s family find the answers they deserve via the proper legal process. I further hope that those who have hijacked that just and legitimate cause to perpetuate their own agendas also reflect on their behaviour".

On Thursday, Noah's aunt Niamh Donohue said Mr Bryson's initial comment were "deeply offensive and hurtful."
