A CAMOGIE team from east Belfast have toured the city displaying their hurling skills for a new video.

The East Belfast Camogs, part of East Belfast GAA which was established last year, were captured at landmarks around the city as part of the launch of their first home and away kit.

The talented ladies' team can be seen showing off their skills at the peace wall on the Springfield Road, Commercial Court in the city centre, CS Lewis Square on the Newtownards Road, and in the shadow of the city's famous Samson and Goliath shipyard cranes.

Louise McConville, public relations officer for the team, said they had chosen "important and historical landmarks" that showed Belfast, and especially the east of the city, at its best.

"We got all the new girls involved and the whole team," she said.

"From the video has been out we have had people emailing us and asking about it. We just can't believe how far it has spread."

Ms McConville said the video was created to help with the launch of the team's first home and away kit.

"This time last year we were all sharing the one set of jerseys," she said.

"East Belfast GAA is a club for everyone and we want everyone to get involved."
