THE family of murder victim Ian Ogle have formally instructed a Belfast solicitor in relation to his case.

The 45-year-old was beaten and stabbed at the entrance to Cluan Place in east Belfast, close to his home, on January 27 2019.

Ten people are facing charges in connection with his death.

In a statement last night, Mr Ogle's daughter Toni said Belfast solicitor Niall Murphy is now acting for the family.

"The Ogle family have now formally instructed Niall Murphy at KRW Law in relation to the ongoing case concerning Ian's murder as well as various serious incidents after the murder, to advise and assist us through the complex intricacies of the criminal process," she said.
