Officers from the Paramilitary Crime Task Force (PCTF) have searched two properties in Co Antrim as part of an operation targeting suspected criminality linked to the North Antrim UDA.

During the searches, which were carried out in Ballymoney on Friday, a number of items were seized including electronic devices.

A PSNI spokesman said: "North Antrim UDA bring nothing but misery and harm to their communities.

"They continue to use firearms indiscriminately to commit Human Rights breaches, intimidate and cause fear, putting a further strain on the NHS during a global pandemic.’’
