POLICE have appealed for help in finding a Sudanese family who have gone missing from an address in west Belfast.

Mohammad Ishak Musa (30), Oumama Abdullah Garnabi (24) and their four-year-old daughter Amani Mohammad Ishak have not been seen at their Harrogate Street home since October 2020.

They were staying at approved accommodation after entering Northern Ireland from the Republic.

A police spokeswoman said Oumama was heavily pregnant when last seen in October, so it is believed that the couple would now also have a two or three-month-old baby with them.

"The family were reported as missing to police earlier this month and efforts are ongoing to establish their whereabouts and that they are safe," she added.

Police have appealed to anyone with information that could assist them with their enquiries to get in touch.
