Man due in court over Antrim church burglary

A 43-year-old man has been charged following a burglary at a church in Antrim.

The man is due to appear before Antrim Magistrates Court on January 5 charged with burglary, common assault and criminal damage.

Police said a report will also be submitted to the PPS in respect of the offences of common assault and possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.

A church on Greystone Road was burgled on Friday evening.
