Two men have been arrested and a car recovered after a creeper burglary in south Belfast.

The men, aged 38 and 36, were detained after reports of a burglary at Carmel Street at around 3.45am today.

Money, a Samsung Galaxy mobile phone and car keys for a Volkswagen Golf were all stolen during the incident.

The car was later found in the Distillery Street area of west Belfast and a short time later the two men were arrested on suspicion of a number of offences including burglary, aggravated taking and driving away and a number of motoring offences.
