SUPERINTENDENT Ted Hastings and subordinates DI Kate Fleming and DS Steve Arnott swapped battling crime for dancing to grime music in a TikTok video that has delighted Line of Duty fans.

Vicky McClure posted the short clip on Twitter yesterday captioned `Good day at work with my besties!'#dancelikenooneiswatching' and within minutes it had been liked and shared thousands of times.

Laughing with cast mates, Fermanagh-born actor Adrian Dunbar and Martin Compston, the trio grinned broadly as they busted some moves to Yungen's 2017 track `Bestie'.

On the original TikTok post she wrote: 'Breaking these two gently into TikTok! When I’m down I’m gonna watch this on loop!!! #besties'.

The stars are in Belfast filming the sixth series of Jed Mercurio's popular BBC police drama.

Among the excited replies was one from presenter Davina McCall who said: "Yesssssssssssssss this made me soooooooo happy".

Former Strictly Come Dancing professional Robin Windsor joked: "Strictly is calling", a sentiment endorsed by former finalists of the dance show and Steps star Faye Tozer.

Former Line of Duty co-star Jason Watkins said: "LOVE IT xxx".

The dancing trio have forged strong personal relationships during their eight years working on the cult programme which started out on the more low-key BBC2.

They have been pictured joking and laughing together on set, which is being filmed around Belfast - a stark contrast to the tense subject matter of the series which will centres on their unit AC-12's work to root out corruption in the police force.
