NORMAN 'Norrie' Ramsay has been co-opted to replace new Northern Ireland Veterans` Commissioner Danny Kinahan on Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council.
The Ulster Unionist last night said he was happy to take up the new role.
UUP council group leader Mark Cosgrove said: “Norrie has big shoes to fill following Danny Kinahan`s new appointment, but I am more than confident that he can do it given his work ethic and commitment to public service.”
