AN election poster of the DUP's Emma Little-Pengelly remains on a lamp post in south Belfast - nine months after she lost her Westminster seat.

Electoral Commission guidance states that "outdoor posters must be removed within two weeks of the close of the poll".

Ms Pengelly lost her seat as South Belfast MP to the SDLP's Claire Hanna last December after the pro-Remain candidate secured a 15,000 majority.

The Irish News contacted the DUP about the poster in the Annadale Crescent area, but no-one was available for comment.

Ms Little-Pengelly is currently working as a special adviser to First Minister Arlene Foster.
