A HOTEL in a border village of Co Fermanagh is going under the virtual hammer.

The Glen Eden Hotel in Belleek is being sold in an online auction next month with a starting price of £525,000.

Situated in along the banks of the River Erne next to the border with Co Donegal, it was once one of the area's leading venues for weddings and live music.

The border village is renowned for Belleek Pottery, and the hotel is located opposite the Belleek Pottery Visitor Centre.

The two-storey hotel comprises of 35 ensuite bedrooms, front and riverside bars, restaurant, function room, and around 30 car parking spaces to the rear.

Formerly known as the Carlton Hotel, it also has a basement section with space for a gym, and the building has a lift operating over the three levels.
