Petrol bomb thrown through window of Newtownabbey flat

Police have established that a petrol bomb had been thrown through a window into the property.

Police are appealing for information following a petrol bomb attack on a flat in the Cashel Drive area of Newtownabbey, Co Antrim.

At approximately 10.15pm last night, police received a report of a flat on fire. 

Police have established that a petrol bomb had been thrown through a window into the property. 

Scorch and smoke damage was caused to the kitchen of the property.

There was no-one in the flat at the time of the incident.
