Two women charged with 2019 murder of Daniel Guyler in Derry

POLICE have charged two people with the murder of pensioner Daniel Guyler, who died ten months after he was assaulted in the street in Derry.

The two women aged 33 and 44 have also been charged with robbery.

They are due to appear at Derry Magistrates' Court today, Thursday, 23 July.

Mr Guyer (75) was assaulted in Termon Street, in the Waterside area of Derry, on July 23 2018.

He sustained a number of serious injuries and never recovered, dying in hospital on May 1, 2019.
