Fisherman rescued after taking ill in Ardglass

A MAN was flown to hospital by the air ambulance yesterday after taking serious ill while fishing in Ardglass, Co Down.

The man was fishing at rocks close to Ardglass Golf Club.

Ambulance crews, alongside the Air Ambulance doctors with assistance from HM Coastguard assisted in the rescue of the man who was transported to hospital via the air ambulance.
