Masked men dragged a man from his car, tied him up, and burgled his home in Coleraine early this morning.
The man was returning to his home on Gateside Road in the Co Derry town shortly after 2.30am when he was confronted by several masked men.
The men dragged him from his car and into his home. They tied the man up then stole several of his possessions.
Police said the man was not injured but had suffered a "terrifying ordeal".
Officers asked anyone who spotted any suspicious activity in the area between 2:15am and 2:30am today to contact them on 101 or make an online report on http://www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/
