Five held on suspicion of attempted murder in Larne released on bail

FIVE men who were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in Co Antrim have been released on bail pending further enquiries.

The men were arrested after a man, aged in his forties, was attacked near Laharna Retail Park in Larne on Monday evening.

The victim sustained head injuries and remains in a critical condition in hospital.

The five men bailed range in age from 25 to 45.
