Appeal for witnesses over fatal east Belfast crash

A man died when he was knocked down while walking his dog in east Belfast last week

Police have made a renewed appeal for witnesses over a fatal crash in east Belfast last week.

A man was walking his dog when he was hit by a white Toyota Aygo car on Henderson Court in Knocknagoney at around 8.20pm on Tuesday, April 7.

Police said several witnesses had spoken to officers about the fatal accident but they believed some had not yet come forward.

Officers asked anyone who saw the crash or who has dash-cam footage to contact them on 101.
