A MAN is expected to appear in court today charged with the murder following the sudden death of an 82-year-old woman in Larne.
Police were called to the scene of the sudden death of the woman in Dromaine Drive area of the town on Monday.
A PSNI spokesman said: "A post mortem examination has been carried out and we are now treating the death as murder."
The man is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates' Court today.
As is normal procedure all charges are reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
