POLICE are investigating an arson attack at former commercial premises in south Armagh.

The blaze at the unoccupied premises at Tullynavall Road, Cullyhanna was reported at around 11pm on Tuesday.

Police, who attended along with firefighters, believe it was started deliberately.

While no-one was injured, substantial damage has been caused to the building

Police said the fire could also have spread to nearby homes.
