A SIXTH person has been arrested in relation to allegations of ill treatment patients at Muckamore Abbey Hospital.
Detectives from the PSNI's Public Protection Branch confirmed that a 26-year-old was man was arrested in the Antrim area yesterday morning.
No charges have been made to date since the first arrest last October.
The Co Antrim hospital, which cares for adults with severe learning disabilities, is at the centre of the biggest police adult safeguarding investigation of its kind.
More than 300,000 hours of CCTV footage is being examined by a specialist team of officers.
