A 77-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder following a stabbing the Rathcoole Close area of Newtownabbey, Co Antrim on Saturday night.
He is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates' Court today, where he will also face charges of possession of an offensive weapon with intent and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
