A 50-year old man arrested by detectives investigating the murder of Jonathan Cairns has been released on bail.
The body of the 18-year-old was found in a shallow grave in Loughermore Forest in Ballykelly after he was attacked as he made his way home from a night out in the early hours of April 25 1999.
A file is being prepared for submission to the PPS in relation to the offences of perverting the course of justice and withholding information.
Those relate to a 44-year-old woman who was arrested last year by detectives investigating the murder. She was released on bail.
