Ballymoney man Desmond Wilson dies in Dunloy road crash

Desmond Wilson died following a crash in Dunloy this morning

A man has died in a road traffic collision in Co Antrim this morning.

Desmond Wilson (59), from Ballymoney, was killed after his Peugeot 2008 was involved in a crash with a Citroen Berlingo at around 7.35am on the Garryduff Road in Dunloy.

Mr Wilson was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Citroen Berlingo was taken to hospital for his injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening.

The Garryduff Road, Dunloy has now re-opened.

Police have appealed for anyone with information or dashcam footage of the incident to contact them on 101.
