A 73-year-old woman injured in a two-vehicle collision in Co Down has died.

Doris Carson, from Donaghcloney in Co Tyrone, was taken to hospital by air ambulance following the collision on Friday January 10 but died yesterday.

PSNI Inspector Leslie Badger said a white Kia Picanto and a white Vauxhall Astra collided at the junction of the Lowtown Road and Crowhill Road near Waringstown. It was reported to police at around 11.20am.

Police are asking for drivers with dash-cam footage to contact detectives.
