A restaurant and a champagne bar in Belfast city centre has announced it is to close at its current location in House of Fraser.

The Ivory Champagne Cafe Bar and The Ivory Restaurant, which are based in House of Fraser in Victoria Square, revealed on social media today they would "no longer operate within" the shopping complex.

A post on Facebook said the news was being revealed with "deep regret".

"A refund for all valid gift vouchers and deposits can be obtained by contacting info@theivorybelfast.com before 21st January 2020. We would like to thank you for your custom and look forward to welcoming you to our new location in the future".

The cafe and restaurant, which was named Best Restaurant in the Ulster Tatler Awards last year and Best Eatery in Belfast at the 2018 Belfast Business Awards, offered diners the chance to dine while enjoying breathtaking views of the Belfast city and surrounding area.
