Police have arrested three people over the death of a Co Antrim man whose body was found at his home.

Glenn Quinn (47) is believed to have been attacked by a masked gang in his Ashleigh Park home in Carrickfergus some time on Friday.

Mr Quinn, who had no paramilitary connections, had been involved in a number of public altercations with a well known UDA leader, the most recent on Friday afternoon.

Police said today they have arrested a 38-year-old man on suspicion of aggravated burglary and grievous bodily harm with intent; a 39-year-old man on suspicion of aggravated burglary and a 47-year-old woman on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent.

A post mortem is due to take place to determine the cause of Mr Quinn's death.
