ARSONISTS have set up to 15 cars on fire at business premises in south Armagh.

Police have appealed for information following the attack on Forkhill Road in Meigh at about 2am on Tuesday.

Two men wearing balaclavas were seen leaving the recently-opened car sales and recovery company in a black Toyota Avensis.

Firefighters brought the flames under control.

Police said damage was caused to the vehicles and the incident was being treated as arson.

The site's sales manager, who did not want to be named, said that those responsible would not put him out of business.

Sinn Féin councillor Liz Kimmins said it was a "disgraceful act of premeditated criminality" that had shocked the community.
