Stun gun used on woman in south Belfast burglary

INTRUDERS used a stun gun on a woman in a south Belfast flat during a burglary.

Three men forced their way into the property on Ashley Avenue, off the Lisburn Road, at around 11.30pm last night.

They used the stun gun on one woman before tying her and a second woman up and ransacking the property.

The victims are aged 38 and 40.

The men made off with a sum of cash and PSNI Detective Sergeant Eric Fairfield has appealed for witnesses or anyone with information to contact detectives.
